SCBA was founded in May 2020, with the immediate aim of providing financial relief and crisis counsel for Singapore’s cocktail industry during the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Established in 2020, Singapore Cocktail Bar Association (SCBA) is a non-profit organisation that champions the city’s craft cocktail culture. The Association aims to be an active voice for the cocktail community in Singapore, while working with its members to identify opportunities for industry growth and education.

Our Mission

The Association’s long-term purpose is to provide a platform for education and pave the way for opportunities that lead to positive career progression and business advancements. Acting as an active voice for the cocktail community, SCBA aims be a bridge between the industry and local regulatory departments, while coordinating efforts that reinforce Singapore as a globally recognised cocktail destination.

Founding Board Members

Each of our Board Members have contributed well to the growth of the cocktail industry here. While Founding Board Members can remain on the board to provide counsel, the positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer will be changed every two years, in order to provide leadership opportunities for other capable candidates within our cocktail community.

 Committee Members

Committee Members are chosen for their positive industry image and influence, and will work with our Board Members to ensure that the Association’s initiatives are always conducted in transparency, fairness and with the industry’s interest as a foremost priority. Committee Members are voted in every two years and can maintain their positions for a maximum of two terms.

Our Members

Since our inception in May 2020, SCBA has recruited members across three key categories: Cocktail Bars, Restaurant Bars and Spirit Bars.

All members must fulfil a pre-set list of criteria.
